A gabion is a cage or box filled with rocks, concrete, or sometimes sand and soil for use in civil engineering, road building, military applications, and landscaping. Modern gabions are woven from hexagonal-shaped, double-twisted steel wire with zinc galvanization or PVC coating, then filled with stones on-site to form flexible, permeable, and monolithic structures.

Key Specifications
Our standard gabion boxes feature an 8 x 10 mesh type with a nominal mesh opening of 83 by 114 mm. The mesh wire diameter is 3.05 mm, with selvedge wire at 3.8 mm and lacing wire at 2.2 mm. The tensile strength of the wire ranges from 350 to 550 MPa, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions.
